January 12, 2022 - PnP - this was drinking well right from the start. Loads of blue and black fruits are supported by a rich mouthfeel and velvety tannins. The finish is mainly in the back palate, which is a little unpleasant, but if you leave the wine up front a little longer than normal it evens things out haha. Overall, I really enjoy this wine.

May 4, 2020 - We have a slightly different perspective on the wine than "winnings" previous post. The wine was very good after a short airing period. What we did notice missing was any indication of acids, leading us to surmise that it might have a year of life left.

March 13, 2020 - At first opening, this was very lackluster. Not a bad wine, but nothing special. 1-1/2 hours in, however, this really opened up to become something special. Rich red fruits, hints of cinnamon, pleasant animal-funk, and full of silky-tannin. I don't have details on the blend %s, but this seemed to be more syrah based than some other Cote Nicaults that I have had. A very good wine, but I don't see it staying at this level for more than 2-3 more years. Enjoy!

April 21, 2019 - 93+. Only a matter of time before this is 95+. Tons of backbone in this wine. It’s standing up nicely after nine years.

July 9, 2018 - fantastic wine in a great place. Popped and poured from cellar, but great nose, well integrated, good finish. Can't imagine this getting better
