  September 27, 2013 - Fully mature inexpensive Bordeaux from an excellent year. Drinks well now. Powerful nose of earth and spice. Mature ripe dark berries on the palate. Some hint of chocolate and leather. LONG finish that is very pleasant, slight tannin, bit mostly ripe fruit. Great with red meat.

  March 26, 2011 - 4th Saturday Brown Bagger (Rich & Dana's): Deep crimson color. Notes of tobacco, black currant, forest floor, iron and graphite. Medium+ body, tannins are a bit chewy; earthy dark fruit flavors carry through the finish. Guessed Bordeaux.
  
  Decanted briefly for sediment & returned to bottle; tasted in the first flight about two hours after the cork was pulled.
