  July 10, 2007 - Bland to say the least, but I've never been a merlot fan, though I've tasted far better merlots. I paired it with the recommended red sauce, pasta & meatballs, but it did nothing to enhance the meal or the wine. I'm sure my cousin meant well when he sent me these, but the last bottle will be consumed by someone other than me.

  March 4, 2007 - The wine that could offend no-one. Smooth tannins, low acidity, red/black fruits in abundance. No obvious wood or vanilla flavouring added in an attempt to emulate wood. Is this what the mainstream wine world has come to? For shame. I have avoided this type of wine for a long time, and now I know why.
