Long, nutty, creamy, textured, alcohol is quite away here... still it is powerful
A great example of what time gives with those amazing wines from Douro ...
Alongside a young vintage port, and a great 20 YO Tawny, tawny is maybe more subtle and easier to get... always are a safe bet those 20's tawny ...
Fantastic wine again, great treat -

November 27, 2019 - Green gold colour
Amazing nose, more like a cognac than a port, rancio, walnuts, acetone and furniture polish.
On the palate there's toffee, pineapple and some funky oloroso sherry notes. Creamy texture with a piercing acidity. Very long, touch of fudge on the finish. Utterly delicious. What an amazing wine!2 people found this helpful Comment -
