February 3, 2024 - Decanted for an hour. The oldest Plavac Mali I’ve had so far. On opening appeared to be a bit effervescent, worryingly. But after an hour this blew off. The nose was quite robust, with deep dark fruit, yet with that typical lingonberry in the background. The palate was full bodied, lots of dark fruit and strong tannins still. This was very good with a lamb rack, but I do wonder whether 10-12 years is the optimal for Plavac Mali.

March 10, 2016 - Opened at a friends place, decanted for an hour. This was really great, fragrant with lingonberry and rosemary. Delicious!
