December 30, 2015 - I was very pleased with how well this wine aged. Great bottle that was very smooth with nice fruit flavors. The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, cherry and vanilla. The body is medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

January 18, 2015 - Pleasantly surprised by this. Still has a very healthy amount of minty, ripe berry fruit, the oak and acid and tannin are well integrated, and it's developed some savory, mushroomy/earthy aspects that are both intriguing and delicious. I think I paid $35 for this? Watch out for the tons of sediment.

May 29, 2013 - Tasted blind in the series w/ Caymus 1994, Groth Reserve 1994, Lokoya Mount Veeder 1997 and a ringer bottle from Austria, the 1992 Nittnaus Pannobilie out of the magnum

Lots of chocolate flavors, currant with hints of eukalyptus. Long in the finish and elegant. Nicely matured wine to drink now with no hurry.

March 19, 2013 - We enjoyed this wine a lot, wonderful nose, medium body now- like a pinot. If I had more I would drink soon.

April 20, 2012 - Extremely smooth drinking, lost some of its kick though.
