February 19, 2022 - A lovely red that reminds me of the big Merlots of the 1990s like Pahlmeyer. Soft and full, smooth as silk, a real treat. We're no good at identifying taste components, we tried to figure out how to describe this one to no avail... except that we really liked it. Even Parker's old tasting notes had a hard time identifying flavors except for cassis (which we didn't get).
