August 29, 2020 - Zu Coniglio al Sugo. Drei Stunden vorher geöffnet und eine Stunde dekantiert. Schönes Rubinrot mit violetten Reflexen. In der Nase Pflaume, rosa Pfeffer, ein Hauch von Zimt. Am Gaumen dunkle Kirsche, Granatapfel sowie ledrig-erdige Noten. Gut eingebundene Tannine, aber eine noch sehr präsente Säure. Mittlerer Körper und mittellanger Abgang. Der Wein macht sich bereits jetzt gut als Essensbegleiter, sollte aber noch drei, vier Jahre ruhen.

January 10, 2020 - May just be too early but lots of alcohol and not fully integrated at all. Given the ratings - expected much more. I’d wait another 3 years to open next time

April 17, 2019 - Nice but not great. More balanced than a couple of years ago, opulent, fresh, with enough fruit, but it lacks depth. Quite simply, it doesn’t get me as excited as other vintages. It might need another year or two to peak.
