  April 22, 2017 - Countryside aromas: flowers, red cherry and raspberry, but also earth, soil, dried leaves and barnyard. Good acidity, but a bit thin body and subdued tannins. I would have preferred more assertiveness from this one.

  Much less aggressive, acidic and eccentric than the 2009. Still a slight yummy barnyard note in there, all the herbal stuff, the leather and the licorice, but the cherry comes out more and it is actually a decent sipper, not just a food wine as before. Overall not as outstanding in the sense of eccentric as a food wine as the 2009 but better as allrounder. If the 2009 was a wild animal, this is a dressage horse.

  August 24, 2015 - simple but effective Carignano from Santadi. Chocolate, smoke and liquorice above all. Some spices too. Unparalleled PQR at 6 eur. A piece of Sardegna in a glass
