Community Tasting Notes 3

August 10, 2023 - Brought this to Tunglok Signatures for dinner with 2 very close friends from University.

Dark gold in colour turning light copper, a clear indication of its age and maturity. On the nose notes of white stone fruits were quite evident. Aged peaches, white flowers, with hints of almond and minerals.

Although all the elements are in place and in harmony, it is time to drink this wine as tertiary notes are started to form. Time is not on its side.

September 13, 2020 - Opened this at home over dinner with my spouse, her sister and our kids. We had pan-fried salmon, oven grilled salmon, pan-fried baby potatoes and baked beans.

Deep gold in colour with a nose of floral, malts and tropical fruits. Some peaches and honeysuckle on the nose and palatte as well. Some hints of cream, fats and layers of flavours. Made up of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Clairette, this wine delivers complexity and dimensions as the wine evolved throughout the evening.

A very affordable and pleasurable wine to pair with fish, poultry and vegetables.

October 4, 2016 - Pale clear gold, very pretty wine. Precise floral scents with a touch of saline. 175 cases produced, 40% Grenache Blanc, 40% Roussanne and 20% Clairette. Honeysuckle, lemon and peaches. Very nice now, seems like a wine not likely to see improvement in the cellar.
