October 20, 2009 - HEAVY bottle (Oh Oh...). Popped and poured. Dark garnet. Nose of smoke, black cherry, plum, cedar. Fruit forward palate of ripe dark fruit, cherry & licorice. Good length that ends with a little bitterness that fades with time in the glass. Whiff of alcohol. Pleasant acidity. Smooth tannins. Very good wine. Not great.

October 16, 2009 - Very good, sort of like a california cabernet in the sense that it was big and fruity, just a barely perceptible heat, took a few minutes to open up but very good. Big splash of cherries.

September 17, 2006 - Fruity with some strawberry and blackberry.
