  March 14, 2019 - I like to keep this for 3yr+ and it always opens up quite well with a little maturity. This has been in the cellar slightly too long and is losing a little of its charm after 5 years but it still has soft fruit, vanilla tannins, and some length. For drinking up, though, perhaps at a BBQ.
  After 24h, this was better and went well with slightly spicy food. Perhaps my initial faith in this wine is justified. It is not complex or expensive but is well made. I have added a point.

  March 11, 2018 - Definitely much better after a few years cellaring. A good basic cabernet. Nice blackcurrant/blackberry flavours, decent balance and length.
  I buy this and set it aside for 3-4 years and it never disappoints. Good value. 88+
