June 23, 2019 - 3 hour decant. I drank this side-by-side with Chateau Olivier Blanc 2005 while helping myself to a large plateful of pan-fried plaice. The bottle of Peyrabon showed well and was emptied before the Olivier. This is a feminine vintage of Peyrabon, with a light-to-medium body and typical haut-medoc flavours. There are also very nice smoke aromas on the nose which will please the connoisseur. The wine has a seamless quality with good balance. 13.5%. Recommended.
