  January 30, 2016 - Bought on release and stored in a 54 degree cellar. Color is right between gold and amber. Not especially intense, but what is there is very nice. Still has good apple fruit and there's a sweet spice element I can't quite put my finger on. Maybe allspice? Still drinking very nicely.

  May 26, 2008 - Remarkable wine, golden hue; tasting of fresh harvested apples; pleasant anise character. Perfectly balanced, finishes dry and could be mistaken as an aged chardonnay. Pronounced honeyed mouth feel.

  December 14, 2007 - Rich, honeyed, with a dry, creamy minerality. Grows with air, best only slightly chilled. Probably on its way down as it flattened out over a couple hours.

  May 1, 2007 - Soft nose, friendly, musky, gris-like. Classy palate, broad flavours but well constructed. Underpinned with a spicy finish.

  January 20, 2007 - Some bottle funk and wet wooly aromas initially, but as it opened this developed nice minerality and some white fruit smells. Dry and refreshing in the mouth, but not austere. The wine showed a lot of changes over 4 hours which kept it interesting. Good effort for a tough vintage.
