February 8, 2024 - Amazing to finish the night, similar to a 20 year old tawny. Dry figs/prunes, lovely sweetness.

December 21, 2018 - Holding on no problem. Perfectly balanced and smooth right now. Driven by walnut and pecan. Delicious.

December 19, 2017 - very black purple color, aromas of violet flowers and chocolate, fine grained tannins, refreshing acidity and long length of finish.

January 9, 2017 - This has a deep brick-chocolate colour; the nose is picking up some sweet prunes, hints of toffee with some hazelnuts and walnuts and a tad of sweet cocoa. Very port-like in the palate though a bit lacking the concentration of some ports; detecting more of that sweet prune juice and figs, unsweetened cocoa, with some raisins trailing off; somewhat chewy as well. Medium-full bodied with a medium+ finish. Part of Last Bottle's surprise six pack.

November 22, 2016 - $240 Last Bottle 6-bottle mystery pack. Bottle leaked some, apparently in shipping, but wine appears undamaged. This was a pleasant surprise. Viscous. Port like flavors with a smoky finish. Doubt I'd ever have bought this without trying it first.
