  February 5, 2016 - Really hitting its stride right now. Dark cherry and a little blueberry sneaking in. Extremely smooth and approachable.

  December 14, 2015 - Kaena, Surfing the Grenache Wave; 12/14/2015-12/18/2015 (Los Olivos): Grenache noir from lower elevation sites at Tierra Alta vineyard. This is lovely Grenache, at a very high standard, that will please devotees of this varietal. Raspberry, red licorice, and pepper, make a delightful nose and smooth, medium-bodied mid-palate. The snappy tannins at the back end are stemmy and would benefit from short term cellaring.
  
  While this does not reach the heights of a CdP "tete de cuvee" it is refreshing on its own and likely merits another Parker point or two when consumed with food.

  December 3, 2015 - Light, clean, easy drinking grenache with cherry and strawberry flavors.

  November 1, 2015 - Very light Grenache, with an overly sweet mouthfeel and candied fruits (red raspberry and strawberry dominates) along with an almost over extracted finish. Wish it was deeper and more peppery. Give it another year to flesh out.
