December 24, 2023 - Even more rustic than last time, with lots of herbs and spices covering red fruit. Seems to be running out of steam. Drink up.

June 1, 2020 - If I’d tasted this blind, I’d have said it was a really nice Pinot Noir, perhaps from an expensive vineyard in Washington State or Napa Valley. And I’d have been wrong about the grape and the geography, but not about the quality. A beautiful, floral and earthy Grenache that easily scores in the low 90s. Great nose that tempts me to lean in on every sip and in between. (I love a wine with such a great nose that I sniff it two or three times between each sip.)
This reminds me of another wine that Clark did a few years earlier, his 2007 Russian River Pinot Noir. That was even better, but this is close. Really nice.
