July 17, 2019 - P&P through aerator. Merlot dominated supertuscan blend. Deep ruby, opaque, tainted legs @15% abv. Aromas of cooked blueberry, leather and burnt wood/toast, bayleave. Dry-off-dry, medium acidity, medium(+) tannin, full body and high alcohol. Palate of blackberry, balck cherry, licorice, leather, pepper, bitter chocolate. Pluche mouthfeel, bold, concentrated pretty, suave. Very good length with bitter sweet notes framed by firm (non-dry) tannins, and residual alcohol heat. Quite a big wine.
