December 19, 2020 - In the glass , a light gold - the nose is a medium-plus mix of peaches, lychees, florality, and a slightly smokey pepperiness. It is off-dry, with a rich mouthfeel, with a flavour of dried peaches. Acidity is low , but there is a final twist of dry spiciness , leading into a finish of sweet butterscotch. Drink up over the next two years.

April 25, 2020 - This wine started out as insipid as tap water, but underwent an astonishing transformation after day 3 of being opened in the refrigerator. The wine suddenly took on a darker yellow and become impressively aromatic, sweetly spicy, pleasantly textured, and surprisingly acidic. The moral to take to heart is to patiently give a wine that started out tasting poorly the opportunity to become enjoyable by retasting it for days later.

June 30, 2018 - Floral aromas on the nose. Medium bodied, semi-sweet, floral and fruity with gentle acidity. Not my favorite style but paired nicely with the egg dish at Plate Social Dining (Viking Line).

October 30, 2017 - Translucent yellow, with aromas of honey. Mildly sweet in the mouth, with low acidity. Neither concentrated nor complex. Overall, too bland to recommend.

July 25, 2017 - Domaine Schlumberger Masterclass at Thomas Schlumberger (wine ark alexandria): Rosewater over rosewater over rosewater over lychee…this is the most liquid Turkish delight nose on a Gewurz I've ever had. There is a touch of bitterness on the nose (yes, I know that is impossible but that is the impression it gives). It's surprisingly juicy and controlled on the palate, again very floral with a little mid - palate burr. medium plus length. I'd this is moving the Alsatian Gewurztraminer paradigm to a more ethereal plain. or. It's just a bit lightweight. take your pick.
