October 22, 2017 - Tiefrot im Glas zieht der Wein seine Bahnen: Das kraftvolle, intensive Bouquet schimmert in rotbeerigen Nuancen, Lakritze, und getrockneten Blüten, Röstaromen und Gewürzen. Beeindruckend ist das hochkomplexe Gewand, mit dem dieser Sangiovese am Gaumen aufwartet. Geschmacklich komplett trocken, saftiger Frucht, einnehmender Holz-Würze und ausgezeichneter Länge, die sich nach längerer Öffnung zeigt.

October 5, 2017 - Easy drinking approachable wine, softer than most sangiovese; more zinfandel or barbera like in its red fruit character and low tannins.

January 19, 2017 - This is such an easy wine to like. Red fruits, leather, smoke with a just a bit more ripeness than most Sangiovese wines owing to its southerly growing area (Molise). Pasta and pizza are the no brained choices to pair here.

November 22, 2016 - Popped and poured for a midweek dinner companion with burgers. Dark cherry, with a hint of spice, not a world beater and simple, but miles ahead of most other $8 bottles out there. Exceptional QPR year after year. Easy bottle to buy and to drink.
