March 27, 2022 - This was the last of 3 bottles bought like 7 years ago or so, and it was the best yet. Lots of honey/botrytis notes, and peach/apple, but not much mineral or petrol, and am not sure it will get there with even more time in the cellar. At 10 years old, this still tastes a bit one-dimensional, but it is a very nice dimension within the realm of textbook Alsace riesling. A hair sweet for my tastes, but it works with the right food. A solid wine, but not one that motivates me to seek out the producer (which is pretty hard to track down in our region anyways).

October 14, 2020 - This is quite nice tonight with lots of rich tropical and orchard fruit, some floral notes, subtle baking spice undertones and just the barest hint of petrol.

October 6, 2020 - Our last of 12 bottles. This has been a solid performer in our cellar over the last 4 years. Tonight, it delivered once again, this time with our pork tacos with homemade tortillas, salsa and guacamole. This full body and rich wine is a delicious sipper on its own, and it's light honey sweetness was a perfect counterbalance to the heat of the roasted garden fresh jalapenos in the salsa. This wine hasany good years ahtof it.

June 4, 2020 - Anita's house sommelier had recommended this wine with the planked salmon, coated with maple syrup. Thankfully, she will keep him around for awhile due to this great recommendation. This Riesling is a bit sweeter than many Rieslings from Alsace, but this sweetness play excellent with meal. The color is beautiful amber color. The nose has a rich sweetness. Flavors of nector, lemon, honey and gardenia.

May 16, 2020 - This time, nose of beer. Very minerally, saline.
