November 8, 2020 - This Pinot is like Thanksgiving in a glass: lots of cranberry, baking spice, a touch of earth. Nicely forward nose, and a rounded palate, though a bit of heat on the back. Might need a couple more years to mellow that, or perhaps this wine had already reached peak and that alcohol is simply present. I think the quality is mildly disappointing based on the price point, but still a solid effort by an excellent producer.

July 29, 2019 - Very nice after 1 hour decant. Medium ruby and light body - in traditional burgundy style. Typical CA nose with a good deal of fruit. Smooth tannins and medium finish. Sadly, my last bottle.
