    July 1, 2016 - A clear ruby with just a bit of bricking at the edges. See through able. Bright, fruity, lively aromas of sweet cherry, orange peal,funk and spice. Alcohol is noticeable. Very fresh yet with a sophisticated richness. Medium bodied on the palate, with medium+ acid, medium tannin, cherry and licorice flavors, and a dry, lingering slightly bitter, slightly salty finish. You really get the Nero d'Avola on the palate. There is a sweet, bitter yin yang going on here. Confident. Very good with a beef stroganoff and a tomato and okra salad. Better slightly chilled. What's up with the heavy-ass bottle?

    February 5, 2016 - Light and clear bright red color, light+ body, good red fruits and plenty of spice, on the palate - good balance of fruits, nice acidity, small amount of friendly and silky tannin.
