November 27, 2022 - Absolutely love this wine. Light bodiesd, yet intense and complex. Berry flavours, herbal aromas, well balanced acidity and great length. Perfect to drink now. Very round and smooth. A bit oxidised on day two, so think this is better drink now.

September 3, 2021 - Very light and transparent. Very thrilling acidity, builds tension. Strawberry/red cherry. Some strawberry pie with air. Green streak evident; herbs. This wine is complete and complex, and while light bodied, fills my taste-buds with joy. Touch of oxidation on the finish on day 2 suggests that this is a drink soon proposition.

February 4, 2020 - Light translucent red in color, floral, red berries, but also with some of the Rhône funk, in a lightweight but still serious style - a bantamweight fighter with a good left hand. A fun gsm blend.

March 15, 2018 - Bright raspberry and red cherry flavors on opening. The nose is floral with notes of tea and Asian spice. It has a nice bracing acidity to it that I anticipate will go well with the braised pork shoulder that’s in the oven..... Later; the acidity of the wine cuts nicely through the fat of the pork. The nose develops notes of vanilla, cedar and earth. Similar notes on the palate as on opening, but they develop a longer finish. Really enjoyable. Nice find by Garagiste!

May 23, 2017 - Opened blind as an options wine and nobody picked Grenache, let alone SA. Looks a lot like a stemmy Pinot. Whole bunch character is evident. Tarry, floral aromas, bit of anise and sour cherry, and some subtle brett-like funk. Palate is more savoury than I expected. Dry, dusty finish which sort of has this sweet & sour thing going on. Is delicious straight away but reaches another level with a splash and some serious air time.
