September 17, 2022 - A fantastic bottle: earthy, yet still fruity; plenty of acidity, light weight and no over-extraction and no hint of new oak. This wine speaks of its place yet does it in a way that leaves it food friendly.

May 29, 2020 - Pretty nice. Good acidity and persistence, with ripe berry fruit, more red than black. Youthful & lively, and very easy to throw back a glass or three. The nose is a little tied down right now, but other than that, this is fine.

September 19, 2019 - Ooh, this is nice. Cherry, earth, spice, and licorice. Texturally silken with fine tannins. Not so sure about the pairing with a Moroccan lentil and chick pea soup.

July 17, 2019 - Light transparent ruby with hint of orange-crimson at the edges. Nose kirsch, dark fruit, some violets. Palate cool fruit, nice intensity to the fruit with a sappy hint, tart acidity — red cherries, earth, rocks/minerals. Good complexity and stuffing, and very drinkable now to my palate. 91 pts

November 24, 2018 - Tart dark cherry, still on the young side with a fair bit of fine tannin, it really needs more cellar time.
