  February 25, 2023 - Splash decanted . Deep dark color demonstrating dark fruit. At 10 years in bottle , this wine is hitting its stride. Wonderfully balanced wine. I feel one of the best made Dr Crane’s out there. I have one more in the cellar. Looking forward to enjoying in the next couple years.

  June 24, 2017 - Dark purple fruit - blueberry, blackberry, dark currants, and dark raspberry. Smooth mid-palate coupled with nice depth/concentration and purity. Nice flavors of dark berries and a little mineral component. Fairly long finish. Decanted for two hours and drank over another three. Improved with time but drinking quite well after the decant. One of the better Beckstoffer Dr Crane cabs that I've had. I need to seek-out more of their wines - I really enjoy Kirk Venge's style of wine making.
