November 11, 2016 - Dry with mainly lime fruit but with spicy notes. Fresh and aromatic with quite forward grapefruit (lip-smacking) acidity but good balance. The small proportion of Traminer adds richness and floral character. The typical 'petrol' characteristics of Aussie Riesling have not yet developed but are likely to do so over the next 5-10 years. A food wine but more attractive than some earlier vintages (such as the 2010) IMO.
