May 1, 2020 - It was worth the wait as this is just entering its peak. Lovely graphite presence out front with plum and mulberry fruit decorated with compelling violet scents. Rich and focused on the palate and so elegantly poised between its fruit and powdery tannins.

March 16, 2016 - Even though it is too early to drink this wine it is just accessable with the elegant touch of oak to a core of black cherry, plum and mulberry. Sweet, ripe and generous with a velvety texture and layered with flavours of bitter chocolate, herbs and a charming dairy edge.

December 3, 2015 - High colour intensity here, ruby-red, dark ruby centre. Quite intense nose. Showing some earthy and smoky notes, a hint of smoke. A slight touch of black truffle. Quite attractive with a certain complexity. Add to that quite a wealth of dark fruit; such as cassis, dark plum, some sweet spices. Good density on the palate, good weight. Attractive dark fruit underlined by a nice level of fresh acidity. Quite fine oak. A bit restrained in terms of tannin but it certainly has a length and density. Overall balanced to keep going on for quite some time. So a really fine and well-made example. In a Bordeaux style, yet with a quite attractive juiciness and drinkability.

October 14, 2015 - Very dark, inky color, almost black. Opulent nose of top quality French oak, Turkish coffee, casis, blackberry, plum, spices and tobacco. Very, very full and dense palate, silky smooth texture with ripe sweet tannin and flavors of dark chocolate, dark fruit and fine sweet spices, very good length; juicy and rich aftertaste; good depth and complexity. Drinkable but huge potential if kept in the cool cellar.
