November 2, 2020 - Really nice... Olive tapenade with a bit of pimiento, leather, slate, little fruit at this point. Medium weight, but tannins clear though rather fine. Good showing; continue to open for two hours. Keep giving this one air; plenty of life left...

December 10, 2018 - Less opaque than many Northern Rhones but still dark. Red fruits (mostly cassis) on the nose. Fresh ground pepper and red fruits. Plenty of acid and balance to see if anything else comes out in another ten years. Medium to long finish.

February 2, 2017 - Full flavor and bursting with integrated fruit and pepper. Excellent balance, alcohol and acid in check. Basically clean; none or little brett.

July 4, 2016 - Opened one hour in advance. Lively berry mint aroma. Full flavors of boysenberry, minerals. Earthy garrigue finish. Delicious, balanced, good backbone, great staying power. Accessible, primary. Very good now, may develop further. Good value.
