August 24, 2022 - My first Willamette Syrah, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s reminiscent of Walla Walla Syrah with some Northern Rhône influences—white pepper, dark cherry, and just a hint of baking spices. There was some VA on the nose at opening, so I’d be curious to see if that goes away with age. It’s certainly a cool climate wine though. Fun .14 hectare experiment from one of my favorite Pinot producers in Oregon.

December 11, 2019 - Interesting. Light at first and tart. With time in the glass and air it put on some weight and more flavors developed. Enjoyable but different.
