January 30, 2022 - Delicious acid and roundness. But lacking a little depth. Notwithstanding it was damn delicious and vanished way too fast.

July 9, 2020 - Social Distancing Outdoors with Sushi & Pizza (Craig & Nita's Place): Pale salmon color. Drank a glass plus over an hour. The word that immediately comes to mind for me is "unique". This was very different than most rose Champagnes. That does not always translate to a good thing, but in this instance it absolutely does. Very high toned nose, bright spices that nip at the highest registers with the cinnamon stick notes in particular. And let me say that those spice notes are not brutish or obtuse, they resonate and lift the wine while merging blissfully with the red fruits, spiced red fruits, sea shells, and rose hips. The palate is equally captivating, very refined and lacy in texture, medium bodied, red berries, spices, cinnamon, rose water, ginger, ginger snap, sea shell minerality and an elegant finish. Great stuff. 93+ to 94pts.

July 9, 2020 - Tonight under the big front yard maple with some wine buddies & sushi. What a great start! Said to be a blend of 65% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay along with 5% PM from old vine in Ormes. This rose' is far and away the most impressive Bereche I've had to date and a head turner. This can hold its owns with the best of the Tete Cuve and might even represent a better value than most. Bright red pink color. Berries and brioche pop from the nose. Be hard to surpass the purity of its delicate but intense fruit & balancing minerality. Devoid of weight and yet mouth coating and satisfying. Lots of delicious red fruit tingle the mouth. This is special. 12% alc. My biggest beef with Bereche other then their basic NV blanc has been value. This wine is a great value relative to the $150+ for most other top examples.

February 24, 2017 - Lemon and raspberry nose, changing to cherry and lemon curd in the mouth, with a chalky finish. This is surprisingly good for a 2011 and much more approachable at release compared to the other Remensis' Champagnes I've had. Very nice.
