August 28, 2011 - A few year after the drinking window this wine was still very nice and drinkable. Hints of excotic fruits combined with the taste of 'old white wine'.

August 27, 2009 - Soft, elegant, tropical bouquet and taste. A lot of fresh citrus acidity and tropical fruits. Well dosed oak. Elegant and complex. This was a bargain for about $20 at that time.

May 31, 2009 - Les Blancs de Pessac-Léognan @ my place (Netherlands): Tempting fragrance of asian spice and floral nuances fill the nose. On the palate smoky bacon, tropical fruit and honey are added. After a while one can find distant but typical Sauvignon characteristics like elderberry, mowed lawn. Not very cerebral, nor discriminate, yet very well made and and very tasty. Best QPR of this tasting. 17/20

January 22, 2009 - Granny smith apples and grapefruit. Crisp and fruity - a bit too sweet for my wife ...
