December 27, 2011 - Little to old. A bit sour.

December 6, 2009 - My bottle was highly acidic, low tannin, cherry fruit driven food wine....to the person that said high tannin...not sure I agree. Time to drink up...this one has had enough time...

December 6, 2008 - The LA Niece, the LA Kid and I dug this out of the 'Old World' Brother In- Law's desert wine cooler to go along with leftover tamales, pastrami sandwiches and an assortment of salads. It proved to be a versatile food wine with a bright cherry driven attack, plentiful acidity and lovely mushroomy earthiness. Excellent.

September 27, 2007 - very nice, dark fruity nose with a definite hint of some oak. first taste, mostly dry.. but tastes of plum and chocolate. Acidity enough to add interest,, but not more than the fruit can stand up to. A little leather on the finish, but soft tannins smooth things out nicely. Will look for this one again, for sure.

September 8, 2007 - A dark chery nose, with some notes of oak. Dry red cherry in the mouth, firm tannins, and then blackberry. Good intense fruit, niely done for a modern style, low acid Barbera.
