  April 16, 2024 - 2013's vintage of 5 Blocks is drinking really beautifully and I'd even say it has the girth to continue cellaring for a few more years. I'm not sure if it will improve in that time as it seems very well integrated now, so drink up, but if you're holding a few bottles, I wouldn't rush to finish them as I don't feel it is past its prime at all.
  
  For what it's worth, I am sorry that TH Estate has shut down. I have enjoyed their wines for many years and hope the tradition continues under new ownership now that the Hoages have retired.

  February 18, 2023 - This is drinking so well right now.
  
  The power of the Syrah comes through but the balance and texture is so nice. I would describe it as a feminine sort of mouthfeel.
  
  It is just starting to show a little bit of bricks at the top of the glass.

  February 20, 2022 - Update review - another year down and this vintage had gotten even better. Same flavors, but so velvety and smooth.
  
  Has aged nicely. Rich feel with various dark berries and fruit flavors mixed with some pepper, forestry earth.
