April 29, 2020 - Fairly chewy tannins still with heavily toasted-vanilla black raspberry liqueur profile and a pleasant kick of peppered spice, minty/licorice, garrigue, and a kiss of dark mocha latte on a dusty med+ finish. Pretty hot too at the end, 15.5% wow, but only slightly imbalanced, air time helped. Expect some throw, oh yeah it's quite chewy, so stand up & decant thru MF ahead of time if you can. 89-90+

May 27, 2018 - A bit underwhelming this time. Maybe due to the bright notes of the primary fruit having faded? Just dead fruit and alcohol st the moment.

February 2, 2017 - Really nice wine, with excellent QPR. Velvet color, spicy red fruits. Strong but smooth at the same time. Hard to believe is more 15.5 degrees. Will buy again. I think it could go a few more years than the ones suggested in CT.
