  December 15, 2022 - Double blind from a small capped bottle. Cab franc - very funky, crunchy green, also red fruits, dark funk and fruits as well, hints of yeast. Some savory olive or brine, strong pyrazines. The dark funk reminds me of Beaucastel a bit. Sour on palate - funky, some dirt, the fruit flew away. Started off really beautiful on the palate - nice and green and sweet, but it didn’t hold together as well, while the Morehouse opened up and improved. Guesses for this and the sister bottle (Morerhouse vyd) were all in the Loire. Nose - 5/6, Palate - 4.5/6, Finish - 4.5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 = 15/20.

  August 31, 2016 - Drank at Parabola. Elegant wine, unique nose...flowery, but also a touch of the sweet smell from Japanese beetle traps.
