June 27, 2022 - This vintage is still holding up, but it needs to be consumed in the next 1-2 years. The wine is not turned or oxidized yet, but the drinking window is closing soon.
That being said, this is currently a great expression of bottle-aged California Chardonnay-- ripe, full, rich and expressive. The wine has aged gracefully into it's Golden Raisin Days, so drink soon if you still have any bottles left of this vintage. -

November 7, 2020 - Time to drink up. Pnp. Dark yellow/golden. Nose of lime, pear, honey and hint of pineapple. Good acid still but definitely on the mature side. Good mouth feel. Pineapple, apple on the palate. Luscious ripe stone (peach?) fruit and a little mineral on the finish.

March 9, 2020 - Golden. In comparison to the 2015 Block UU, on opening this was riper and quite beautiful expression of cool climate Chardonnay: lemon citrus and yellow apple and some apple pie spice. 91
By day 2 it had lost its lean edge and developed an over-ripe sweetness with a dessert like character, and a bit too much of dairy fat, custard, and vanilla. 88 -

March 29, 2019 - Drinking and smelling beautifully. Mineral nose and honeyed richness - full not heavy. Great spot. Perfect with roast chicken and fingerings
