January 10, 2023 - This has held up and developed well over 17 years. My buddy, Guy and I bought this in ‘08 at the vineyard. I drank mine. It was awesome 10 years ago. My buddy held his. It’s amazing Full of fruit…deep complexity … tobacco, liquorice, stone fruit.

February 1, 2018 - Part of taking inventory of my wine cellar, is finding things that “require” drinking. Duel has always been one of my favorite wines at Darioush. This 2006 has just the slightest hint of tannin, lush fruit with white pepper on the nose, it feels beautiful on the palate with a spicy finish and good acidity. While it could age a bit more, I’m very pleased with how it’s drinking right now.
