December 31, 2019 - Holding up well, this wine has a maturing nose of pepper, and dark berries. Palate is refined, with adequate tannin. No signs this is over the hill at all. In a good place now. Drink or hold.

March 19, 2019 - Well built wine. Dark fruits, herbaceous, medium+ concentration, soft tannins, long finish. Can't ask for much more.

October 19, 2018 - Color: Transparent ruby. Nose: Subtle red fruit, a hint of spice. Mouth: Not very fruity. It has an inky quality. Medium to full bodied. Quite long. The 14.5% is well hidden. After a while I taste more dark fruit than red like cassis and cherries and the fruit is starting to become more expressive. There is also an aroma of malt candy. There is a fresh juiciness that I like very much.
