May 25, 2019 - My first Amerone.Very much a pleasure wit sweetness, 16.5% alcohol helping there and plum taste, firm structure, nice typical italian bitterness in it's aftertaste.

October 20, 2016 - 4.5 Deep crimson with energetic aromas of prune, mushroom, licorice, allspice, and sandalwood. Certainly still developing. Off-dry with nice acidity to balance the plush body, high alcohol. Serious intensity on the palate with more prune, fig, and vanilla entering the equation. Considering the concentration, the wine maintains exquisite balance with complex layers consistently intriguing the mind and senses. Stellar.
