August 29, 2020 - I have expected 2012 Napa cabs, based upon reviews and reports, to be approachable from day 1. Not this one, when I opened it 2 nights ago, the glass was brash and abrasive. Too big in every area. Flash forward, after 2 days in the fridge, had a couple of glasses tonight. Much better and more balanced. Still big, dark and muscular, too extracted for my preference, a good foil for a steak. I would decant three hours at least before serving.

April 27, 2019 - First of three bottles; just the right amount tannin in balance with the fruit. Love the “unbroken polymers”.
