Community Tasting Notes 3

  • keskenazi Does not like this wine: 84 points

June 5, 2017 - Thin, one note, not the best representation of the terroir. Sour cherry is all I get, perhaps you could reduce it over heat and make sauce for vanilla ice cream?

May 12, 2016 - Alma Rosa Tasting: Medium-to-deep ruby color. A bit richer aromatically, with juicy strawberries and raspberry jam along with some sweet roses and clove. Lovely texture (dusty tannins, tart acidity) supports a medley of bright red currant, cherry and apple fruit. Accents of loam, tobacco, clove and cola. Full and chewy but stays elegant and refined.

January 8, 2016 - Smoke and raspberry nose turning earthy

Semi-soft on palate finishing raspberry and cherries

    Quite light, tannins developing nicely
