  June 1, 2023 - Wow, all the accolades are true. Flowers and minerals on the nose. The deepest red color. In the mouth velvety smooth and balance that is second to none. Fruit is still prominent but not over powering. Finish shows structure but all in check. This was my first bottle I have opened. No rush to open the next. This has the potential to age for a very long time. What a treat.

  July 14, 2021 - Decanted over cocktails. Silky on the palate with delicate herbs and savory fruit, then suddenly an attack of mocha espresso that lasts forever. This is a gorgeous wine and a stunning expression of To-Kalon fruit by one of my favorite winemakers.

  January 25, 2021 - Spectacular wine, indeed. Incredibly rich, voluptuous, almost Hundred Acre like velvety lusciousness on the tongue, with dark fruits, flowers, minerality, and soft tannins in exquisite balance — and a crescendo finish. Best Cab Franc I’ve ever enjoyed, and it paired spectacularly well with a very lean, rosemary-encrusted perfectly cooked filet. We’ve got 5 more to enjoy, thankfully!
