February 4, 2017 - Winebar [Various Reds & an Alsatian Pinot Blanc] for 2/3/17 (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): N: Earthy with almost a sharp, VA type component (with air/warmth, cough syrup-like aromas?)
P: Med, poss MF, body; FOCUSED, almost swtish frt nicely met by acidity & morphing into a LONG, somewhat puckery, yet ultimately almost swtish finish. Nicely balanced & CLEARLY well made, I can see this improving for the next 1-2 yrs, then drinking nicely through 2023 min! 13.5% ABV ; 96 pts James Halliday, 93 Wine-Pages, 92+ The Wine Front, 92 WA, & 91 WE; Gold @ '16 Royal Melbourne Wine Awards & Silver @ '16 Sydney Royal Wine Show; [This vendor's $45.95 is pushing 10% < than anyone else on Cellar-Tracker.] -

September 1, 2015 - Well made, easy to notice this as the most quality of the bunch. Good structure, tannin, with generous amounts of rich ripe fruits. A slight sweetness on the finish. Overall, enjoyable cabernet.
