October 23, 2018 - Potpourri of Wines from an Autumn Trip to France; 10/9/2018-10/24/2018 (Paris, Lyon, Beaune, Reims): Pale. Candied citrus peel on the nose. Light, off dry, mostly orange but some stone fruit, bristling acidity, and excellent stony finish. Very good base cuvée.

November 25, 2015 - Acidità marcata e piacevole. Retro amaro pompelmo. Persistente.

October 11, 2015 - Duft prega av fersken. Frisk og fyldig i munnen. Litt sitrusskall mot ettersmaken. Lite kompleksitet, men fin for nivået. Får nok bedre kvalitet for penga i Tyskland.

September 13, 2015 - Appearance: Clear wine with a pale lemon colour and green inflections.

Nose: Clean nose with a Medium intensity. This wine is youthful.

Quite a simple nose: Peach, golden apple, lemon and lime. Unusually, this smells quite alcoholic but it is only 12.5% - potentially drank it too warm.

    Palate:
    Dry
    Medium+ acidity
    Medium alcohol
    Medium intensity
    Medium body
    Medium finish

Softer and rounder than I would expect for a young Riesling, a slightly oily body with a peppery and slightly bitter finish.

Acceptable quality Riesling from Alsace. Should be drunk now as it is unlikely to get better with age. At around 13-14 euros, not great QPR.
