March 13, 2024 - A Mystery wine that I purchased from Garagiste almost 5 years ago, that I finally got around to trying. I brought this to a dinner with my wine group at an Indian Restaurant and I think it was the group favorite. The new oak influence has settled down and integrated with the fruit. Full bodied with a medium+ finish.

September 2, 2023 - This has really come together over the last four years and is drinking well at nearly 10 years. Displays a deep, opaque purple color; this is a big wine. Comprised of 75% Syrah, and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon; fermented and aged in new oak for 21 months. Highly perfumed and aromatic with a rich and dense mouthfeel. Definitely ripe, almost jammy fruits: blackberry, black cherry, and black plum with peppery and licorice in the mix. Structure is mostly integrated and provides balance to the ripe black fruits. Finishes strong and rich. Worked great with the smoked beef brisket. Drink though 2026+.

September 29, 2020 - I enjoyed this more than other recent ETs I've had, some of which have been overly red fruity and tart. I agree with GEV's note that this is deliciously fruity without being jammy. Nice floral aromas. Medium opacity and body.

June 11, 2020 - It is deliciously fruity without being too jammy. A smooth long finish and a delightfully fruity nose round out this fine Washington wine.
Good thing I still have another one for later.

October 12, 2019 - Solid blend. Took about an hour to open up. Black cherry, currant, and some oak. Decent tannins.
