June 23, 2019 - This was fantastic. Big robust flavor. Chewy, and thick. Deep color. Great finish with a nice touch of pepper. Outstanding wine.

November 20, 2018 - Pigs must be flying--this is a balanced Paso Robles wine! First ever! About half syrah with 25% ea zinfandel and merlot, the fruits are nicely delineated with appropriate acidity and tannins, no heat. Very nice.

September 10, 2017 - Kudos again to Calcareous! This is a luscious, deep, leggy blend that kills most Napa offerings at twice the price. Green pepper, black pepper, earth, ripe black fruit dominate the nose, and the mouth is full of chewy phenols, palate-coating fruit & great balance.
