April 16, 2021 - Very complex with berries and smoke and a silky finish. Not sure I would have picked this out as grenache.

January 3, 2019 - Viscous and silky like most sqn. Super big and monolithic. Very bad qpr.

December 31, 2018 - A small sample from Enomatic in Hedonism Wines. No sign of aging on the rim. As with SQN wines, the nose is almost overpowering. Such intensity of fruit. A heady compote of black fruit that never drops in intensity. It’s the same on the palate. The finish stays for minutes. Amazing.

(Sine Qua Non Into the Dark) (decanted for 90 minutes) - dark red violet color; rich, blackfruit, berry and liquid pepper nose; rich, very peppery, smoky blackfruit and roasted beef palate; long finish 95+ pts.

(Sine Qua Non Into the Dark) Focused black fruit, berry and boysenberry nose; a little hot, concentrated, like a super rich Hommage a Jacques Perrin, with black fruit, fig, berry, tar and a little pepper; long finish
