March 13, 2024 - Not a formal note, but this is a perfect example of the Matthiasson style. Aromatic, penetrating fruit melded with bright acids, the essence of deliciousness, lovely aromatic back notes on the long satisfying finish.

June 9, 2022 - Medium to dark garnet. Aromas of blueberries, mocha, and roses. A lovely deep dark berry fruit on the palate, with sweet mellow acids and warm tannins, still slightly gritty, evolving sweet fruit and floral presence into the medium to long finish. Just a lovely presentation of varietal character and balance and Matthiasson magic.

July 5, 2021 - Blackberry on the nose. On the palate, blackberry, plum, and notes of cherry and earthy spice on the medium to long finish, with moderate tannins and good acidity on the medium finish. This was an average to good value at about $60. The Cellartracker drinking window is too short by several years.
