August 6, 2019 - A powerful Barolo, but one with quite ripe tannins and a good freshness to the acidity. Medicinal, but more as a spice together with the intense fruit of raspberry, cherry and strawberry. Roses and tar. Surprisingly drinkable, but more a steak wine than something to pair with pasta or risotto. Very good! I had this in a restaurant two years ago almost to the day and I think this has become more balanced since then.

August 3, 2019 - Nice wine, decanted, first glass about 1/2 hour. Good but a touch acidic and tight at first. However, Throughout the night it kept opening and was excellent. Note to self: decant at least an hour or more.

April 28, 2019 - A Barolo that you can drink and enjoy at young age. Recommended.

April 7, 2019 - Not blown away, A bit meh. I really wanted it to be brilliant, but it was a bit clunky, well made but noting thrilling here, middle of the road, didn’t have the mineral highlights of say Roagna or the floral notes of someone like Burlotto, and is pretty much in the same ball park price wise. From memory these guys are using roto-fermenters? Perhaps I just prefer the longer traditional fermentation style, perhaps it was the fact the glassware wasn’t the best for Nebb, perhaps it’s the slight cold I’ve got, perhaps perhaps perhaps... Decanted for an hour before drinking.

December 30, 2018 - Glass purchase at the Refectory. Very accessible for such a young wine from such a traditional producer. Prototypical Barolo flavors without the searing tannins of 2010.
