March 2, 2024 - I love where 2012 Barolo are at right now, and this is a cracker. A gorgeous nose of pure cherry fruit, rose petals, licorice and earth. It has a core of highly perfumed, sweet fruit and plenty of earthy/ savoury nuance. It is silky and builds through the palate and fans out, driving on and on, carried by its sinewy tannins.
